The South African Liberating Public Sector Workers Union (SALIPSWU) is not surprised, neither shocked nor outraged about reckless and unsubstantiated wild allegations made by desperate, leaderless and low life losses against its Secretary - General, Cde. Thobile Ntola says, President of SALIPSWU, Cde. Jacob Molefe.

SALIPSWU without any fear of contradiction point out that we do not have a certain Ntsiki in   Mpumalanga who claims to be a coordinator of SALIPSWU in the Province. Ntsiki Hayward,  Thabo Kondile, so-called SALIPSWU Chairperson in the North-West, and other two faceless individuals in KwaZulu/Natal and Limpopo, who also claim to have evidence that can stand the test of time in any tribunal, court or commission of enquiry have to date not produced any shred of evidence to substantiate these damning allegations.

Be reminded that these are disgruntled and rejected elements that came to join SALIPSWU, with one thing in mind: To get what they wanted, and that was to be elevated to very important and powerful national office bearer’s positions. Not knowing that they came to a radical, militant and revolutionary Public Sector Union, where the Union, “eJA SEBENZELWA”, and not the other way around.
If they have authentic reports detailing invoices for a purchase of R300 000 at Game Stores and R50 000 spent on hotels from the Union’s official credit card over the two-year period, why don’t they approach the nearest Police Station and institute a Criminal Charge of either Theft of Fraud.

So that the person accused can be arrested, charged, and brought in front of a court of Law, and can also be given an opportunity to bring his side of the story. The South African Federation of Trade Unions (Saftu) is also busy with its internal investigations and SALIPSWU is waiting with bated breath for the outcomes of the investigation. The myth that Saftu is deliberately delaying and dragging feet, because of Cde. Thobile Ntola’s, history with Cde. Zwelinzima Vavi , the Secretary- General of Saftu, is nothing but hot and cold air.

Saftu is currently in the trenches fighting off the Parasitic Bourgeoisie and traitors of the of the poor and vulnerable. SALIPSWU recommends that if the Federation could find any inch of wronging doing by our Secretary – General, they not ONLY, act against him, but approach law enforcement to lay a charge of mis-management of Unions funds. That is where we come from.

Needless to say the expenditure of the moneys between 2014 and 2016, before the public sector Union held its first conference, was handled by Cde. Jude who was the then treasurer, and later by the late Cde. Paul “Bazooka” Mbhele, may his soul rest in peace. The former Secretary – General of SALIPSWU, in the Kwa Zulu/ Natal Province who is one of the so-called rebels, Cde. Moses Tostetsi, was then vested with the responsibility to manage the Unions funds.

The Secretary – General was never entrusted to handle the funds of the Union, either by mandate or “Boetie-Boetieskap”. “How could one man only manage to mis-use R600.000.00, without anyone smelling a rotten rat only the hell knows only?” This is rubbish. SALIPSWU, all in the name of transparency, have to date made documented submissions to the Federation to ease and expedite the investigation. As part of SALIPSWU’s co-operation a detailed Memoradum is submitted to the Federation that would divulge that Cde. Thobile Ntola was actively involved in making sure that the Late Cde. Paul “Bazooka Mbhele was given a dignified send-off to his last resting place.

Thereafter he did the same to make sure that the  first National SALIPSWU conference was well organized and well financed.  The REPORT submitted to the Federation can attest to that.

The investigations of the allegations only came after Cde. Ntola was overwhelmingly elected in an open and democratic SALIPSWU National Conference, held in Bloemfontein in April 2018. Needless to say internal and external auditing is underway to determine how much of the Secretary – General’s personal funds have been use to keep the Union’s head above water, until it’s self-sustained?”

After all is been said and done, SALIPSWU is well on its way to better days. We aren’t in denial that the Union is from a bumpy and gravel road, sustained by populist who have nothing to offer.

SALIPSWU is considering its opinions to instruct our Lawyers and go after these scoundrels. SALIPSWU is investigating the well circulated rumor that these individuals are planted within the Union to form factions, cause fiction and derail the revolution. They will be exposed soon.

It is very interesting that this unfounded allegation comes at a time when the Public Sector Unions are falling apart and sold –out by their respective Unions and Federations, and are looking for alternative Independent Unions in the Public Sector and Independent Federations.
The modus operandi of these mosquitos are a reminder of bad losers and ezimpimpi of yesteryear.

SALIPSWU also rejects the assertion that Ntola did not respond to requests to comment on the allegations.
