President Jacob Zuma has extended his hearty congratulations to Mr Ephraim "Shakes" Mashaba on his appointment as the head coach of the South African national senior football team, Bafana Bafana.
"We wish Mr Mashaba all the best in this critical national task. We urge the nation to support Mr Mashaba and the team he will select to represent South Africa.
"It is not an easy task, but with the nation's support and hard work, success is possible for our beloved national team,” said President Zuma.
