The state does not have basis to dictate how students must behave, the state have a right to provide free, quality, decolonised and deco-modified education.

We cannot expect African people to make maximum contribution and expect minimum return. The struggle against Apartheid was in pursuance of the free, quality education which students demand today. The students should continue with the fight until their demands are met. They should not be blackmailed by saving the academic year because this is merely about those who grossly benefit from the education that is being sold.

It is very important to first and foremost applaud the students across the country for showing us determination that we never even realised during a fight against colonialism (or Apartheid policy). You cannot tell an angry individual to be silent without furnishing any solution to the problem.

SA Police Services which is in cahoots private security continues to kill and injure our future intelligentsia community despite the fact that we have a student in the TUT (Lesego Phehla) who was "massacred" by the same trigger-happy SAPS which have a responsibility to protect lives.

The right of the revolutionaries belongs to the oppressed, the students are within their rights to behave as they do. There is nothing wrong when an angry person searches for solution to exterminate anger once and for all.

We greatly condemn with strongest possible terms the manner in which the state continue to harass unarmed, poor, innocent and deserving students across the country. PAC witnessed this disaster outside the parliament. The students have a right to respond the way they do.

It is the state and its propaganda machinery who continues to feed people with the notion that students are violent and criminals while the police are shaped as saviours/messiahs. It is so unfortunate that we will continue to speak of the same thing every period without any material response because of leadership vacuum.
