Pan Africanist Congress of Azania (PAC) is disappointed at how the governing ANC have been manipulating state machinery to fight their cheap and dirty factional wars.

It was under the sudden-praised Thabo Mbeki that the public-broadcaster (SABC) was used to propagate propaganda by censoring another faction and certain political analysts. This was achieved by deploying the board members who are advancing particular political and ideological view, the deployment was not based on the merit question but how best you can defend a comrade.

During Mbeki tenure, Scorpion and NPA were used to investigate certain political figures from a rival faction hence we are faced with today's conundrum under the man who is continuing to cost the country.

The problems faced today by the country where Minister Pravin Gordhan is in war with Reserve Bank (former employer) in cahoots with the notorious Hawks which is unable to help combat corruption in government or stop trafficking of drugs and human.

It does not need a sangoma or a rocket scientist to determine that there are rivals within the party administrating our country. Individuals are fighting and clashing with others to ensure that they defend their own career by selfish means. This is done at the cost of citizen.

This is the time for the country to come together and surpass cheap factional wars of a mere group of people in the name of political party. We however content with support which the civil society have conveyed, we are with them.

It is known that the weak currency hit severely on the face of the poor while the rich worry less. Those who uses paraffin and eat bread everyday will deeply be affected by this opportunists misdemeanour. It should stop and it should stop now. State resources should service the citizen and not selfish individual.
