The Pan Africanist Congress of Azania (PAC) is disturbed and flabbergasted by the display of an effigy depicting Panyaza Lesufi being hanged. We do not, as the PAC, view this as an attack to comrade Lesufi, its a general attack on majority of African people. We condemned divisive and fascist tendency

Tomorrow is supposed to be Freedom Day, the PAC have been saying that there will never be freedom without equality. We have been saying that political emancipation without economic liberation is meaningless, in fact its a waste of time. The effigy of Comrade Lesufi signifies how inferior we are being regarded by other group and that may be true because we are nowhere to be found in our own economy, no African person owns or control one mine in our own country.

Afriforum should find purpose for its existence by charging those who are misbehaving in the society. We are continuing to see severe attacks on African people. We know that Afriforum and Solidarity are not going to respond or intervene because its those organisations which issues instructions to its hooligans.

The PAC reiterates that these kind of behaviour can only be eliminated and crushed by returning the land with its wealth to the rightful custodians, African people. It is always one section of the society which perpetually attacks another section because of skewed power relations, racism is institutionalised within our economic system which we are not forming part of. Government should accelerate and fast-track the process of returning back our land in order to end the so-called racism.

These group which is dominant in the economy is the same group which inherited land from their ancestors who forcefully stole our land from our ancestors by a barrel of a gun. Our message is very clear, we are saying to the ANC that they should use their numbers in parliament to empower people through returning their land back and equitably redistributing the wealth to the masses of our people and we guarantee that the disease of inferiority and supremacy will end.
