Ratshitanga said if Mbeki was to depart for Zimbabwe to resume talks at a later stage, an announcement would be made at that time.
On Thursday, The Times reported that spokesman for the Movement for Democratic Change George Sibotshiwe had told the newspaper the party had been informed Mbeki would be in Harare on Thursday to meet with them and negotiators from the ruling Zanu-PF.
