Advocate Kessie Naidu, who represents the families of the deceased, withdrew an application to recall Nieuwoudt earlier in the day. He had wanted to clarify certain aspects of the Motherwell killings with Nieuwoudt.
Nieuwoudt completed his evidence on Monday.
The former security police colonel and two colleagues are seeking amnesty for the car bomb which killed three other policemen and an askari at Motherwell in 1989.
Former Vlakplaas commander Eugene de Kock will testify at the hearing taking place at the Port Elizabeth High Court today. – Sapa.
