Mr South Africa is a competition that looks to find an ambassador for South Africa, one that exhibits the qualities that set him apart from the average man, a man who has superior qualities, intelligence, commitment, good looks, and a healthy, fit physique. He must possess inner power and strength to be able to handle conflict and difficult situations in a professional manner. He must have a great personality and be fun loving with a balanced lifestyle.

After months of intense tasks and hard work, the Mr South Africa 2013 Top12 were announced on the 1 August 2013. Since then the 12 have had an overwhelming response locally and nationally.

Getting involved with great initiatives, each Finalist has developed a brand, one of which cares for fellow South Africans and represents a diverse culture of people.

The Mr South Africa Office has work day and night to host the BEST event of the year.
The Black Carpet Event will take place at The Lyric Theatre, Gold Reef City, on Thursday, 7 November 2013, from 19h30 for 20h00. The theme: Ultra Chic, GlamForm. (Semi Formal with a Glam Undertone)
