The IFP National leadership accompanied by Members of Parliament will
conduct a two day oversight visit from 18th to 19th of October 2014 in
Gauteng to assess the current living conditions and access to basic services
of the poorest of the poor.
The Deployed Oversight Team (DOT) will visit each district where it will
interact with residents.
The issues that will be addressed are as follow:
1. Unemployment
2. Crime
3. Infrastructure backlog
4. E-tolls
5. Health
6. Human settlement (hostels, informal settlements and backyard
dwellers)
7. The eviction of people with their tittle deeds in various
flats.
On Saturday, 18th October 2014 the delegation will visit:
1. Ekurhuleni, Zonkizizwe Community Hall
2. West Rand, Bekkersdal School
3. Tshwane, Ward 40 in Mamelodi (open space )
On Sunday, 19th October 2014 the delegation will visit:
1. COJ, Orlando Community Hall
2. Vaal, Vereeniging No. 21 Hall
3. North West, Kgomokgomo High School
