In the spirit of Thuma Mina, Evangelical Presbyterian Church in South Africa (EPCSA) Men’s Guild has harkened to the call to action to be part of the 100 Years of Nelson Mandela and Albertina Sisulu: Men’s March Against Violence on Women and Children on 10 July 2018, 10am at Church Square, Pretoria.
In marching together with business organisations, civil society groupings and government we are demonstrating a united resolve to fight the scourge of violence against women and children.
The march draws 100 men from different categories across our society to create a visible front of men marching together to show their commitment to making South Africa safer for women and children.
The scourge of violence against women and children is a huge threat to our development as a nation. On average, one in five South African women older than 18 has experienced physical violence.
The 100 Years of Nelson Mandela and Albertina Sisulu: Men’s March against Violence on Women and Children on 10 July 2018, will begin Church Square, Pretoria at 10am and make its way to the southern lawns of the Union Buildings.
Evangelical Presbyterian Church in South Africa (EPCSA) Men’s Guild calls on all organisations to demonstrate their resolve to ending violence against women and children by joining this important cause.
