The Supreme Court of Appeal’s finding regarding Hlaudi Motsoeneng, chief operating officer of the SABC, drew a red line through president Jacob Zuma’s and the ANC’s managing of the Nkandla scandal to date, Dr. Corné Mulder, the chief whip of the FF Plus said.
Dr. Mulder says the FF Plus welcomes the judgement. He said it confirms the supremacy of the Constitution as well as the importance of all Chapter 9 institutions.
“The decision of the Supreme Court of Appeal that the Public Protector’s (PP) findings cannot be ignored and that a parallel process cannot be used to replace her findings has far-reaching implications for president Zuma with regards to the Nkandla scandal,” Dr. Mulder said.
