The Chief Executive Officer of Eskom’s subsidiary Eskom Rotek Industries, Mr Johnny Dladla, has tendered his resignation and will leave Eskom at the end of this month (31 October) to pursue private business interests.
His successor will be announced in due course.
Mr Dladla has 23 years of experience within Eskom, 17 of which were invested in various non-regulated businesses within Eskom, and 5 years as Chief Executive Officer of Eskom Enterprises and its subsidiaries.
He was appointed Interim Group CEO of Eskom Holdings between June 2017 and October 2017. Eskom’s Group Chief Executive, Phakamani Hadebe, thanked Mr Dladla for his efforts in helping to stabilise Eskom. Mr Hadebe wished him well in his new endeavours.
