Minister of Small Business Development, Ms Lindiwe Zulu, has distanced herself and her department from a fake event branded as Ekurhuleni Black Suppliers Road Show.
Minister Zulu urged organisers to refrain from misleading members of the public, in particular, entrepreneurs who are desperate for information and opportunities. She condemned the fraudulent use of her name, her department and other government leaders by faceless con artists whose only objective is to defraud innocent citizens.
Minister further called on members of the community to be vigilant and guard against being defrauded in similar schemes. We urge all entrepreneurs and aspirant entrepreneurs to verify any suspicious information with our office.
