Fore ign Minister Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma is expected in Eritrea today ahead of a scheduled meeting with her Eritrean counterpart, the Department of Foreign Affairs said yesterday.

Dlamini-Zuma returned to South Africa on Saturday from Ghana where she accompanied President Thabo Mbeki to a high level meeting of African presidents in Accra, at which the situations in the Ivory Coast, Darfur and Liberia were discussed, said department spokesperson Ronnie Mamoepa.

The summit was also attended by United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan.

Dlamini-Zuma will deliver a message from Mbeki in Eritrea, when she pays a courtesy call on the country's president. She is expected back in South Africa tomorrow. – Sapa.
