Human Settlements Deputy Minister Zou Kota-Fredericks will visit Joe Slovo informal settlements in Cape Town tomorrow as part of the Department’s outreach programme.
The Deputy Minister and members of the community will embark on a cleaning campaign aimed at inspiring young people to take advantage of the opportunities created by government to fight poverty, unemployment and inequality.
The Deputy Minister will also visit the victims of the shack fires that left more than 200 people homeless last Sunday.
