The Deputy Minister for the Department of Telecommunications and Postal Services Prof. Hlengiwe Mkhize will be a guest speaker at the Huawei Software Defined Networking (SDN) & Internet Protocol (IP) Summit 2015 taking place tomorrow at the Sandton Convention Centre.
Prof. Hlengiwe Mkhize will be speaking under the topic: “Cultivating a Better Telecom Environment for South Africa.”
The Deputy Minister’s speech will amongst others, touch on: the Open Access Policy, latest amendments made to the legislation and Cyber-Security.
This will also give the Deputy Minister a chance to elaborate more on her budget vote that she delivered last Thursday in Parliament.
The summit that is under the theme: “SDN, Providing A Better Connected Experience in Africa” will showcase the latest advancements in ultra-Broadband Monetization, best experience for 4G, SDN Commercialization etc.
Senior executives, leading global experts and industry analysts will also speak on the how SDN & IP impacts the transformation of network operators’ operations and business.
There will also be an exhibition and live demonstrations for the attendees to gain more insight into SDN & IP cutting-edge achievements.
