Monday, 7 April 2014, DA Youth leader, Mbali Ntuli will address the Whoonga crisis at Careline Crisis Centre in Durban.

Whoonga is a street drug in widespread use in impoverished townships in Durban. Young people are experimenting with the drug as a way to pass time. Young people’s lives are being threatened whilst the ANC are just standing on the sidelines, not addressing this serious issue.

We know that drug abuse undermine the safety and wellbeing of our communities. The DA will do whatever is needed to prevent young people from turning to drugs like Whoonga. We will fight to give our young people a chance to succeed.

Date: 7 April 2014
Time: 11:00
Venue: Careline Crisis Centre, 36 Assagay Road, Assagay, Hillcrest
