The Congress of South African Trade Unions in Limpopo hereby wishes its reliable ally, the South African Communist Party, a successful 07th Provincial Congress to be held on the 07th – 08th May 2016 at Bolivia Lodge in Polokwane.

The South African Communist Party remains the vanguard and the most trusted ally of the workers and the federation is looking forward to robust and frank discussions in the Provincial Congress with a view to further strengthen the forces of the left in the province.

We are indeed looking forward to contribute in maintaining the character of the SACP of a Marxist Leninist ideology, a party of strategic influence and activism that continues to play a vanguard role in consistently representing the immediate and long-term interests of the working class and the poor, within the context of a multi-class liberation movement and NDR.

As workers, we demand an outcome of the provincial congress that will reflect unity and the capacity of the party to effectively unite and provide leadership to the working class and the urban and rural poor in the province in particular.

We remain combat ready to safeguard the party against those who wish to capture it and sell it to tenderprenuers and the bourgeoisie in the province.
