I, Dr Rob Davies, Minister of Trade and Industry, intend to issue a notice in terms of Section 24(4)(a) and (c) of the Consumer Protection Act,2008(Act No. 68 of 2008)(the Act) , prescribing certain categories of goods that are required to have a trade description applied to them and prescribing information that is required to be included in such trade description from among the categories of information contemplated in the definition of a "trade description" in section 1 of the Act, as set out in the attached schedule.
