The Portfolio Committee on Health will tomorrow be briefed by the Gauteng, Mpumalanga and North West provincial health departments.
The Committee will be briefed on areas pertaining to the functioning of the provincial health departments. Matters that will form part of the agenda in the meeting relate to human resources, particularly community health workers, infrastructure projects and financial management, particularly issues that were raised by the Auditor-General (A-G) and plans to address concerns highlighted by the A-G.
Furthermore, the provincial departments will brief the Committee on supply chain management and progress regarding the implementation of the ideal clinic initiative.
