Angola's Deputy Foreign Minister George Chicoti told the council the African country supported strengthened weapons inspections in Iraq but also wanted to see Baghdad increase its cooperation with the UN.
He added that his statement should not be "misinterpreted" as a sign that Angola is not willing to act against Iraq.
