To amend the Agricultural Produce Agents Act, 1992,so as toalter certaindefinitions and to insert others; to change the constitution of the council; to applycertain provisions to fresh produce agents only; to make certain textual alterations;to provide for the extension of the jurisdiction of the council, to enhance theregulating powers of the council; and to provide for transitional matters;and toprovide for matters connected therewith.
